iestyn is spending a few months with us doing hand poked tattoos, scarring and adding yet another flavour of personality to the frankenslut that is absolution. here until the end of march, he hails from london where he is heavily involved in the performance and body modification scene. full time member of the psycho cyborgs.

a german elvis shows up with an impressive portfolio to add another accent and style to absolution tattoo persons of interest. while traveling, he hangs with us for a number of weeks and blends in with the furniture, taking time out to push some ink in the 3rd chair and wow us with stories of home decor mishaps involving roadkill.

OCTOBER 2008:


lionel fahy, (out of step tattoo) french visionary and executer of the bizarre and beautiful, spent time with us and fueled the creativity and insanity that makes tattooing wonderful.

howie moves back to L.A after residing here for a year. due to visit august 2009, and frequently thereafter, his humour and ability to do the unimaginable brings... something, to absolution.

joe and jude leave after close to two years with us. currently working on opening his own studio in norwich, joe had a hand in a number of suspensions and scalpel scarification while with us, plus he was a decent shit.

eden joins us in preparation for joes departure due to immigration. eden brings another genuine interest and open personality to absolution, choosing a life of pain and stab wounds over one a chef.
deeply and totally infatuated with body suspension and body modification, his robot pony dance is surprisingly nimble.

APRIL 2008

olle walks into absolution, and into our hearts for a month or so of work and travel. tall and dashing and slightly swedish, olle draws the monsters we believe him to be on the inside. his ability to use effective techniques to achieve soft colour tattoo work makes him almost like a super hero, though his cartwheels let him down.
