Paige Elder draws inspiration from rich histories of Feminist Witchcraft and occulture in Aotearoa and through this, realises elusive emotional atmospheres in ink and oil. This work featured in her exhibition at Absolution titled Observations from the Unknown and reimagines themes from her postgraduate studies, exploring concepts of identity and orientation, spirituality and perception.
