Sam Harrison is a contemporary artist based in Ōtautahi Christchurch. He works primarily in sculpture, drawing, and woodcut printmaking, and is a graduate of the School of Art and Design at Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology. Harrison’s practice is grounded in observations of the human form, exploring themes of vulnerability, physicality and time, with raw and often arresting intensity.
