Pete Wheeler is a New Zealand artist who holds a BFA from Otago and an MFA from the University of Canterbury. His practice engages big issues and shamelessly relays his personal opinions on topics including religion, sex, and politics. Dissonance, segregation, and tension are expressed through Wheeler’s imagery which he weaves together in unexpected ways.
