Brendan Jon Phillip studied at Whitecliffe College of Art and Design and Elam School of Fine Arts, and received Distinction in Film and Media Studies at the University of Otago. He is a practicing artist who explores his experimental aesthetics through a variety of projects, spaces and media. His works often feature bold hits colour and lingering bronze and silver forms across intense black canvas.
